The GPX 250R of 2003 - 2005 was the mature form of Kawasaki's entry Ninja sportbike, with a 248 cc liquid-cooled twin, a UNI-TRAK rear shock and an uncomplicated chassis. Its specifications stayed close to the bike's 1980s design, which made it a cheap, light and easy machine to ride. It was marketed as the brand's most affordable sportbike.
